I found this article at autospeed.com and thought you might be interested in reading it: 'SS Sleeper' - A street-neat VT SS Gen 3 that's gone through a nitrous phase and - most recently - a Vortech blower. The Gen 3 5.7 V8 is a motor that pumps out power with consummate ease; the downside of this is the big VT Commodore feels a tad slower than it really is. Therefore - when it comes to making a definite seat-of-the-pants impression - you need the massive extra shot of power that comes from something like nitrous or a supercharger.
